Talent Buyer

We are seeking a full-time Talent Buyer to join the Live Music Team of Bohemian Foundation. The Talent Buyer supports the artist booking and venue development requirements of Live Music initiatives. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, this individual works directly with the Live Music Manager, as well as Music Programs and Foundation staff to curate and purchase talent for events and venues and other partner events, as appropriate. The role successfully negotiates and confirms artist offers while ensuring event and production staff is provided with the information needed for successful live performances.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will possess a compelling combination of the following: four years of professional experience in talent buying, strong knowledge of cross-genre music and live music trends, ability to contribute to the success of a team, as well as work independently. Ideally, the candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective communication skills. Proven skills and experience in business operations, relationship development and community building along with strong relationships with agents and managers is also important.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $73,000. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings and company match. Additional benefits include fifteen paid holidays, flexible time off, new parent leave, staff education, and education reimbursement.

Communications Coordinator

The Music District
Fort Collins, Colorado

We are seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to join the Music District. This is a great opportunity for an individual to grow and develop through their professional contributions in a marketing / communications role. This role supports the Programs and Events Manager to develop and cultivate interest and enthusiasm for the Music District by contributing to successful participation and engagement by its core communities that results in active participation in its programs, events, and activities. The role is responsible for producing the applicable communications materials that support the Music District’s programs, events and activities, with a strong focus on the Music District web applications, database management and social media channels.

Qualified candidates possess a minimum of two years of experience within the marketing and communications framework. Success with audience building techniques utilizing traditional and digital strategies while also supporting internal and external communications, as well as developing and executing marketing plans, is desired. Experience with use and oversight of digital communication tools and web applications, to include Photoshop, WordPress, and management of a CRM is required. A deep interest in the transformative power of music would be a gift!

The minimum starting pay for this position is $24.52/hour. Associate Program Manager

We are seeking a full-time Associate Program Manager who will manage the Bohemian Fund, a new fund of the Foundation’s and will participate in the development and implementation of special initiative programs and grants and other functions. They will actively participate in other community activities that further the Foundation’s work. This newly created position will be a member of the Community Programs team and report to the Community Programs Director.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of three years of progressive growth in nonprofit or foundation work and have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or possess other relevant combined experience.

A skilled communicator with strong organizational skills, familiarity with budgets and financial statements, an affinity for process improvements, attention to detail and a willingness to learn is desired. This is a great opportunity for an individual to grow and develop through their professional contributions while learning about best practices in philanthropy and grantmaking; advancing equity priorities; using data to influence change; and managing and facilitating collaborative groups.

The starting salary range for this position is $55,000.
