Community Event Fund Continues to Accept Applications

The Community Event Fund application is open and continues to accept applications. With a continually changing environment related to COVID-19, nonprofits can apply for a variety of unique events, including virtual events. Applicants must apply at least 60-days prior to the event. If you are requesting support for an event involving social gathering, you must speak to your public safety plans and protocols in your application. Please be sure to carefully review the Community Event Fund guidelines before applying as all other guidelines remain in effect.

Bohemian Foundation recognizes that community events and fundraising events can be important tools for nonprofits.

The Community Event Fund provides support for events that create meaningful connections between the community and local nonprofits. The Community Event Fund is one of our responsive grantmaking programs that offers nonprofits opportunities to submit funding requests through a selective application process.

We support events that:

  • Involve community members in nonprofit programs and services.
  • Encourage philanthropy and volunteerism in Fort Collins.
  • Showcase an organization’s successes and contributions within the community.
  • Increase the public’s awareness and understanding of the nonprofit community.
