Discovering music and sound

The Music & Sound Lab at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery is a permanent music-experience exhibit provided and supported by Bohemian Foundation.

Visitors learn about the physics and science of sound, the technology behind everything from Edison wax cylinders to iPods, and the history of the Fort Collins music scene. Hands-on activities include the opportunity to build your own brass instrument and opportunities to play instruments including guitars, drums, marimbas, keyboards, and even a theremin.
